Please note that we are currently only able to quote for shipping to the UK, for shipping to other countries please ask for a quote.
During the coronavirus outbreak we are only shipping twice a week due to reduced staffing levels, so there may be a delay in receiving your goods. You will be notified by email once your goods have shipped.
We have a flat rate shipping charge of £3.95 for UK addresses for fabrics sent out from our store. The exceptions are small items, which have a charge of £1.95, and rolls which are sent direct from our supplier where the courier fee is £9.95. Please use a home or work address where someone will be available to take delivery of your courier order as a signature will be required.
Orders over £150 will receive free shipping.
We are proud to use recycled packaging wherever possible, which takes additional time. As a VAT registered business, we also have to charge VAT on delivery charges. Therefore postage costs include a modest surcharge to account for these factors.
UK parcels will be sent by second class parcel post or courier, depending on weight. Courier delivery can be up to 5-7 working days from placing your order for UK addresses (though packages do often arrive sooner than this). We can also send smaller packages by first class post – please ask for an estimate if required.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Lighter packages will be sent by Royal Mail airmail. Packages heavier than 2kg will be sent by Parcelforce Worldwide. Maximum shipping weight for one parcel is 15kg. Shipping costs and delivery dates vary by country, please ask for a quote if you would like us to ship overseas.
We are not responsible for import duty on your goods. UK tax (VAT of 20%) is deducted on purchases being sent outside the EU, and any import duty will be your responsibility, so please bear this in mind when deciding to purchase.
You may return most items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). You cannot return any fabric once you have cut it, so please check carefully before cutting. You will be responsible for return postage on any item which is not faulty, so please use our free sampling service to ensure the fabric is suitable for your needs.
If you have a problem with your order or would like to return an item, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org. Most issues can be rectified.
Items should be returned in an unused condition in the original packaging. Please enclose our packing slip so that we can identify your order on receipt of your return, and include your telephone number and email address so that we can contact you. Please ensure you obtain a proof of posting for your return, as we cannot be responsible for items which do not arrive.
You should expect to receive your refund within 25 business days of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.
Made to measure curtains, or other items which have been altered to your requirements, cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
