Ticking stripe blue is a woven ticking fabric with a softer feel than traditional ticking. This is a traditional woven ticking. It has a design of thick and thin stripes in denim blue on a cream background.
What is ticking?
Ticking is a strong woven fabric with a traditional design and is especially suitable for boxed cushions. Ticking fabric was originally used to cover mattresses, pillows or upholstery. The close weave of this fabric helps keep the feathers inside. The stripes work particularly well for creating piping to set off your cushions. This fabric also makes a funky curtain lining! Please note ticking fabric shrinks when washed so please allow for up to 10% shrinkage and wash your fabric before measuring and cutting out.How to use Ticking stripe blue

Colours can also vary between dye lots, so please ensure you order enough for your project.
So we can package your fabrics beautifully for posting, they will be taken off the roll and folded. We try our best to always send fabric in one continuous length although this is not always possible, we will contact you if this is the case. Some fabrics are also on sale in our shop in Bridport, Dorset, so on rare occasions stock may not be available where it appears to be online. We do our best to avoid this and many fabrics can be reordered, again if this occurs we will contact you to discuss the options.
