This spruce grey poly cotton twill is a hardwearing fabric. Grey cotton twill would be ideal for making overalls or dungarees. It is a strong thick fabric making it suitable for outdoor furnishings and clothes that may have to withstand hard wear. It resists tearing and stains making it great for many crafts and dressmaking projects. This deep spruce grey polycotton twill material is a strong, hardwearing mix of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. This sturdy green-grey colour plain polycotton twill fabric has a smooth, finish and a gorgeous deep , and would be ideal for making a bag or jacket.What is twill fabric?
This grey green cotton mix fabric is a twill. This is a strong dressmaking material, like a canvas or drill but it is woven slightly differently, which gives the material a subtle diagonal weave. If you want a natural product, we also sell cotton drill, which is a very similar fabric. Denim is a type of twill fabric, so this fabric has a similar weave to denim. This is a heavy cotton mix material, making it suitable for furnishings and clothes like work clothes and outer wear that may have to withstand hard wear and tear.How to use spruce grey twill fabric

To check colours are as you expect we recommend you order a sample, to see and feel the fabric in the flesh. Free samples are available for all fabrics! Colours can also vary between dye lots, so please ensure you order enough for your project.
So we can package your fabrics beautifully for posting, they will be taken off the roll and folded. We try our best to always send fabric in one continuous length although this is not always possible, we will contact you if this is the case. Some fabrics are also on sale in our shop in Bridport, Dorset, so on rare occasions stock may not be available where it appears to be online. We do our best to avoid this and many fabrics can be reordered, again if this occurs we will contact you to discuss the options.
