Lightweight polyester interlining for curtains; perfect for lighter fabrics or smaller windows. Interlining, or bump, is used to add a luxurious weight and fullness to your curtains. Interlining gives extra insulation for draughty windows and doors. This poly interlining is the only bump we recommend as suitable for roman blinds.

Lightweight Curtain Interlining - Synthetic
Lightweight curtain interlining (or bump) adds extra body and warmth to your curtains. This is a lightweight polyester interlining for curtains. Use it sandwiched between the show fabric and lining fabric to add extra body to your curtains. We also use this bump as interlining for roman blinds.How to use interlining for curtains
Interlining is particularly useful for door curtains, for curtains for draughty windows. Bump adds thermal properties, but also adds a feeling of weight and luxury. We also like using interlining for long curtains to add volume and fullness. We'd use it for projects like:- Interlining door curtains, to keep your house cosy

How to use Interlining for roman blinds
This lightweight poly interlining is the only interlining we use for roman blinds as it is light enough and slim enough to use as a lining for roman blinds. You can also use it for curtains, or course! In the shop, we use this poly bump for interlining for roman blinds if customers want a bit more body or extra insulation from their blind. The material is light enough to be easy to work with, and doesn't hinder the operation of the blind.More help with interlining for curtains
Lightweight polyester interlining for curtains is placed between the show fabric and the lining when the curtains are made. Click here for a tutorial on how to make thermal lined curtains using interlining; you can also have it added to your made to measure curtains.  This lightweight interlining fabric is also suitable for more delicate fabrics and smaller windows; for heavier fabrics or for added warmth a heavyweight poly bump is also available. Please note that interlined curtains cannot be washed and should be dry cleaned.Colours can appear differently on screen, so although every care has been taken to represent them accurately, some variations may occur from real life. To check colours are as you expect we recommend you order a sample, to see and feel the fabric in the flesh. Free samples are available for all fabrics! Colours can also vary between dye lots, so please ensure you order enough for your project.
So we can package your fabrics beautifully for posting, they will be taken off the roll and folded. We try our best to always send fabric in one continuous length although this is not always possible, we will contact you if this is the case. Some fabrics are also on sale in our shop in Bridport, Dorset, so on rare occasions stock may not be available where it appears to be online. We do our best to avoid this and many fabrics can be reordered, again if this occurs we will contact you to discuss the options.
