How to use Christmas holly print fabric:

This is a useful Christmas craft fabric with a holly print. This is a 100% cotton Christmas craft fabric, which we would use for all sorts of Christmassy craft projects! Use it for your Christmas makes, furnishings and clothing. We'd use this holly sprig fabric for projects like:

Using fabric for reusable Christmas crafts

We love using fabrics for reusable crafts to save on paper waste! Reusable Christmas makes are perfect for feeling festive without creating loads of paper waste. Our customers often use our fabrics for a sustainable option for wrapping presents, and also to make lovely crafts like crackers, table settings and decorations which can be used again and again. As well as our Christmas fanrics, you could also use delicious plains like this festive red muslin fabric.

Japanese Furoshiki Fabric wrapping

For a more stylish fabric wrapping option, we love the Japanese Furoshiki method. This is a traditional practice has continued into the present day. Furoshiki, and the knotting techniques associated with it, is a lovely way to wrap gifts. Your presents look beautiful, and the recipient gets some lovely fabric in addition to their actual present, to sew with or reuse. It’s also a form of precycling, helping you avoid unnecessary waste from wrapping paper and tape. Find out how to use fabric for Furoshiki wrapping here. This Christmas dressmaking fabric can also be used for patchwork with other fabrics in our range; you can also add blender fabrics and plain cotton poplins. Quilting is a very popular pastime; using a patchwork technique or simply sewing through layers of fabric and soft wadding to create a plumper result.

Colours can appear differently on screen, so although every care has been taken to represent them accurately, some variations may occur from real life. To check colours are as you expect we recommend you order a sample, to see and feel the fabric in the flesh. Free samples are available for all fabrics! Colours can also vary between dye lots, so please ensure you order enough for your project.

So we can package your fabrics beautifully for posting, they will be taken off the roll and folded. We try our best to always send fabric in one continuous length although this is not always possible, we will contact you if this is the case. Some fabrics are also on sale in our shop in Bridport, Dorset, so on rare occasions stock may not be available where it appears to be online. We do our best to avoid this and many fabrics can be reordered, again if this occurs we will contact you to discuss the options.

To keep your lovely new fabrics in the best condition we recommend checking out the Product Info for details on how to care for them. Washable fabrics should always be hand washed, before cutting and making your projects, in order to allow for shrinkage.
