Black watch tartan fabric. This is a woven tartan fabric in the traditional dark blue and green Black Watch design. This is a poly viscose tartan fabric. it has a soft drape and is suitable for dressmaking and crafts projects.
Tartan is a patterned cloth consisting of criss-crossed, horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colours. Traditionally made of woven wool, now they are made in many other materials, like this soft poly viscose tartan cloth.
Tartan is particularly associated with Scotland, and there are many different traditional Scottish tartan patterns. We also stock some more modern, vibrant tartans for fun dressmaking projects.

So we can package your fabrics beautifully for posting, they will be taken off the roll and folded. We try our best to always send fabric in one continuous length although this is not always possible, we will contact you if this is the case. Some fabrics are also on sale in our shop in Bridport, Dorset, so on rare occasions stock may not be available where it appears to be online. We do our best to avoid this and many fabrics can be reordered, again if this occurs we will contact you to discuss the options.
