Show Stopper Meg, of Livingstone Textiles wowed the judges at The Melplash Show this year and took First Prize TWICE!
Her adorable childrens bag is made from a durable cotton fabric featuring cars and has multiple storage inside. Meg lined the bag with polka dot cotton poplin and then featured different pockets and dividers in different coloured polka dots. One of the larger pockets is secured with a zip and the bag even has a safety strap for your keys! We agree with the judges, it’s a top bag
Her entry into the Bunting category also took First Prize. The judges were impressed with the crispness of the lines and the neatness of the sewing. Meg used cotton poplin again, plain white with applique chickens interspersed with red polka dots. She used a red marbled batik fabric on the back and sandwiched red ricrac between the layers.
The marbled batik, along with the polka dots fabrics can be bought from our online shop. The bunting is on display in our Bridport shop and Meg also made some more for the Yeovil shop which we are busily preparing to open very shortly. Watch this space………….
