This comfy but rather plain denim skirt from eBay has been given a bit of an overhaul by one of our staff members.
The length was neither short nor long and she favours long skirts so out came the scissors!
She cut an old denim skirt that was too tight into strips and sewed them together.
She then stitched them with the wrong sides together in two rows onto the bottom of the long skirt. By putting the bottom row inside out and using bright orange thread, she’s made it a feature.
The bottom hem of the original skirt has been snipped back to make it fray and blend with the new layers.
A fun and individual skirt that’s cool for the summer.
