Livingstone Textiles are opening a new shop this summer in Yeovil, Somerset and are looking for an Assistant Manager to oversee the day to day staff and operations.
We are one of the larger fabric retailers in the region, our business has been based in Bridport for 45 years and we are undertaking an expansion program within the South West.
This is an opportunity for you to shape our retail operations, and set a template for future growth. You will be part of the recruitment process for the sales staff joining the Yeovil branch.

You are an enthusiastic, hardworking, people orientated leader with an eye for detail, able to solve the many challenges that a retail environment brings every day. You offer a role model for customer service and see through projects to completion, not being deterred by occasional set backs.
We would like you to work independently, take the initiative in improving the business and environment in which we work. You are resourceful and resilient in finding solutions.
You will be supported by knowledgeable and well-motivated colleagues who give a highly professional service. Initially you will train at our Bridport site, working with our existing team in order to understand our ethos and familiarise yourself with our systems.
An enthusiasm for fabrics or interior design is an advantage.

This is a full-time post (37.5 hours) including Saturday with 28 days paid leave. You are not expected to work Sundays or Bank Holidays.
