London Map Fabric
You may think it’s a little odd for us to stock a London Map fabric down here in West Dorset, but we fell in love with this unusual fabric. You wouldn’t want to use it to find your way around the capital, but for curtains, blinds, cushions, light upholstery, tablecloths, craft projects or bedspreads it’s just the ticket. It’s even been used by one of our customers to cover a chaise-longue! This printed cotton/polyester fabric has good colours printed on a lovely natural colour background. Because of its extra width, this fabric is particularly useful for large blinds or tablecloths. Although there is a pattern repeat, due to the all over nature of the design, you may decide not to pattern match from one curtain to another. There is also a horizontal pattern repeat resulting in a pattern join where the edges of the map meet – see photos below for details. You will only need to join widths if your windows are more than 110″/2.8m wide.
